Come and join us for wirework fundamentals that is specifically designed to provide an inclusive learning space, emphasizing creativity and experimentation. Throughout the course, you will be taught the basics of wirework, starting from identifying the various types of wire and tools, moving on to creating your own findings, and finally mastering wire wrapping and weaving techniques. You will be guided every step of the way, ensuring that you gain invaluable insights into the foundations of jewelry-making and the world of wirework. By the end of the program, you will feel the satisfaction of having created a one-of-a-kind project with your own hands, while also developing skills that are foundational to jewelry making.

Materials, safety equipment and tools will be provided. Enrollment includes additional access to one monitored Open Studio session per week, either on Thursday afternoons from 3:00pm – 6:00pm, Fridays from 5:30pm – 8:30pm, or Sunday evenings from 5:00pm – 8:00pm.

SCHOLARSHIPS

SCHOLARSHIPS applications are available for students who may not otherwise be able to enroll in a course.  Additionally, standing sliding scale scholarships exist for advancing QT/BIPOC equity.
