Description

This class will use the wheel in combination with other hand building methods to create large pots and vessels. Students will make larger and more complex shapes that build off of their knowledge of the wheel, such as potting planters, chalices, larger vases and yard sculptures.  Students should be prepared to think Big and be ready to push themselves creatively to make unique forms and shapes in clay!

This class is designed for intermediate students who have some experience with wheel throwing.

Unfinished student work should be picked up within two weeks of last class.

SCHOLARSHIPS

SCHOLARSHIPS applications are available for students who may not otherwise be able to enroll in a course.  Additionally, standing sliding scale scholarships exist for QT/BIPOC students.
