Description
A hololith is the technical term for a single stone ring. In this weekend class you will learn the fundamentals of the lapidary art and some basic knowledge of stone identification. Students will identify, cut, core, and polish a stone of their choosing. Students are encouraged to bring a stone they think might be suitable for the class. Students should be fairly familiar with the use of a flex shaft and the basics of a saw. This class will give students a fundamental skill set to further their own knowledge and continue to push their individual creativity.
This class is open to students at all skill levels!
