Description

“I want to build a…” … table? … bench? … sculpture?

If you have already taken an introductory weekend welding course, Welding II is the perfect opportunity for you to work on a more involved project under the guidance of a knowledgeable instructor. As you continue developing your metalworking skills, you will design and build a personal project of your choosing during this 4 week course.

Feeling a little rusty? Don’t worry, the first class will be a refresher designed to remind you how all the tools and machinery work. You’ll be back to welding, grinding, and cutting before you know it! Steel will be provided for practice and exercises, but students must pay for additional steel needed for their independent work.

Open studio hours to work on projects during the course are included.  Open studio runs Monday (3-6pm), Thursday (3-6pm) and Sundays (5-8pm). Students will have access to 3 open studio sessions during their course.
