Description
This 4-week course explains and explores many mold-making processes for clay, finding approaches to experiment with casted forms. Students will create open face molds, two-part molds, and learn how to slip cast objects. This class is beneficial for artists wanting to cast objects for foundry casting, wax, and other craft mediums, while primarily focusing on clay and wax.
This course is open to folks of all skill levels.
Open studio hours to work on projects during the course are included. Open studio runs Monday (3-6pm), Thursday (3-6pm) and Sunday (5-8pm). Students will have access to 3 open studio sessions during their course.

SCHOLARSHIPS applications are available for students who may not otherwise be able to enroll in a course. Additionally, standing sliding scale scholarships exist for QT/BIPOC students.
