Description
In this course, students will create vibrant paintings of local flowers with watercolor pigments. As we enter spring, students will pick a flower of their choice and learn how to describe it through painting. We will cover color theory, viscosity, brushes, line handling, and more to create detailed, layered works, focusing on complementary shadows and saturation, and experimentation. This class is for beginner and intermediate watercolor students; everyone will walk away with new techniques, skills, and a work of art to showcase.
