Description

In this 6 week class students will explore the intersection of the functionality and artistry of metalworking. The class will start with hands-on exercises that will review and further develop students’ metalworking skills while cultivating a creative mindset. This class is ideal for folks who have taken weekend welding and want to further expand their metalworking skills and combine the technical process of metal working with creative expression. Throughout this class new techniques and processes will be explored and students will be given the opportunity to create a piece of work that reflects their individual style.

This class is open to students who have taken a Weekend Welding course or have some welding experience.

Open studio hours to work on projects during the course are included.

SCHOLARSHIPS

SCHOLARSHIPS applications are available for students who may not otherwise be able to enroll in a course.  Additionally, standing sliding scale scholarships exist for QT/BIPOC students.
