INTRODUCING OUR 2021 ANNUAL REPORT
HOT OFF THE PRESS
Hot off the press is our most recent Annual Report! 2021 was quite the year at The Steel Yard. We worked to align contributions to critical needs, eliminating all artist residency fees and expanding scholarships for QT-BIPOC students to make the industrial arts more accessible and affordable. We strengthened our apprenticeship program and worked to move towards more justice in leadership.
YOUR participation and investment has brought us to a place where we can focus our work on the future of equity in the Industrial Arts. To realize this future, we are working on a new strategic plan with poet, performer and cultural organizer, Sussy Santana. We would deeply appreciate your participation in this process and are including a link to a brief survey so we can include YOUR thoughts about what moves YOU to support our work.
