THANKS TO THE CITY OF PROVIDENCE’S DEPARTMENT OF ACT

The City of Providence’s Department of Art Culture and Tourism has recently helped us make our dream of offering our 3.8-acre campus FREE to arts, culture, and community organizations come true!  During the pandemic, we had the opportunity to re-envision what community events at The Yard would look like.  Thanks to ACT we are now offering a value-driven program providing outdoor programmable space free to community partners seeking to fulfill their missions and serve their communities.

With the City’s generous funding we’re working with community organizations and groups that serve and represent diverse communities throughout Rhode Island.  This includes arts & culture organizations, community development corporations, social and public service organizations as well as independent groups and artists.  Look for upcoming partner programs this summer hosted by Trade Pop-Up, Wilbury Theatre Group, Pechakucha Providence, Public, and TryCaps. We are so happy to have you all here at The Yard.
