Financial Information

The Steel Yard is committed to financial accessibility. We recognize that not all youth are able to afford these opportunities. Tuition includes food & snacks, bus passes, & course materials. In total, the true cost of attending a camp is roughly $1250 per student. We offer FULL scholarships to those who are interested but would otherwise be unable to pay the tuition. However, we do ask that those who might have more financial resources pay for part of their enrollment by taking a partial scholarship. In selecting to receive a partial scholarship, more funding is available for all of our youth summer campers. All contributions can be made on a sliding scale. Our sliding scale pricing system encourages purchases based on a camper’s ability to pay instead of setting a fixed price for all customers. Enrollment decisions ARE NOT based on the ability to pay for your enrollment.
