Woonasquatucket River Watershed Council Cleans up the Yard!

The Woonasquatucket River Watershed Council has been hard at work in the Yard, landscaping and making room for fresh growth while removing invasive species of plants. This partnership would not have been possible without our phenomenally generous donors.

Metal sculptures, long lost to the grass, have emerged! While the grounds continue to absorb water and prevent run-off. The mission of the Woonasquatucket River Watershed Council is to encourage, support and promote the restoration and preservation of the Woonasquatucket River Watershed as an environmental, recreational, cultural, and economic asset of the State of Rhode Island.

We’re so thankful for their support and helping us establish an invasive-species control plan as well as ongoing maintenance to protect our beautiful 3-acre green space.
