Description
Need extra help on a project or just want time in the studio with some guidance? This course is for intermediate and advanced students who have taken at least one multi week jewelry class and want to take their skills to the next level. An instructor will be present to help trouble shoot and bounce ideas off of as you become more independent in the studio. Demos will be available upon request at the discretion of the instructor. Brass and copper is included but you must provide your own materials if you choose to work in silver.
DATES: WEDNESDAYS 9/30/26 – 11/18/26
TIME: 6:30 – 9:30 PM
SKILL LEVEL: INTERMEDIATE
Open studio hours to work on projects are included in the cost of the class. Open studio runs Monday (3-6pm), Thursday (3-6pm) and Sunday (5-8pm). Students will have access to six sessions during their course.
INSTRUCTOR BIO

Alison Bruun is a metalsmith with 30 years of experience making jewelry and working in light metals. She received her MFA from UMass Dartmouth and has been teaching at The Steel Yard for 11 years. She can’t wait to help you make something beautiful.
