PP/TA Training at the Steel Yard

PP/ TA TRAINING

April 24 from 4:00 PM to 5:00 PM
The Steel Yard is holding a training for Public Projects Workers and Teaching Assistants. Training will cover tasks for each position, how to get paid/hired, shop shut down procedure, shop safety procedures, etc.
 
Training is open to anyone interested in working in the Steel Yard’s Public Project department as an artist/fabricator or as a teaching assistant in the Steel Yard’s Open Enrollment courses.  
Some restrictions apply. Each participant must have taken a course at the Steel Yard or have demonstrated (resume and images of work) experience in metals shops.If you are new to the Steel Yard and have never taken a class with us, please email a resume and a portfolio or images of your work to demonstrate your experience in either a blacksmithing or welding shop.
