If you haven’t been to Watchemoket Square in East Providence the fast-growing sculpture park’s newest addition is a must see. “Heron”, composed of steel and aluminum stands over 10 feet tall flying over guests of the park. The piece was created by Public Projects Artist, Michelle Racconne who is also the Studio Assistant at the Steel Yard.
The piece was commissioned by the East Providence Arts Council and sits next to “Rigging”, the sculpture that commissioned by the council last year!
