The folks who bring you Beervana Fest and RI FOOD FIGHTS joined forces to celebrate BACON & BEER Fest on June 17th! 25 local restaurants prepared their favorite bacon inspired dish and were paired with 25 local breweries!
This inaugural event was clearly and immediate hit and tickets sold out for the event in only 10 days after becoming available. Each guest upon arriving recieved their own Bacon & Beer Fest growler and a ticket to vote for “People’s Choice” award and a Celebrity judge’s award for the best Bacon/Beer pairing.
Within 5 hours time- the yard was set up with each vendor, lawn games, and 800 guests flooded the yard entertained by by the Silks, stopping by each station to try a sample from each vendor.
Taking home the Judges 1st Place trophies are El Rancho Grande and Allagash Brewing Company! And congratulations to the ‘People’s Choice,’ Ocean State Sandwich Company! Needless to say, this spectacular and organized event wrapped up with smiling faces all around.
