The Public Projects team worked with Union Studios, a Providence-based architecture firm, to design and fabricate a custom archway for the town center of Poughkeepsie, NY. The town’s Main Street has been undergoing a transformation with the help of Union, Kirchoff Companies, and Hudson Highlands Construction. The Steel Yard’s custom arch adds a unique, handmade touch to the improvements, and the Public Projects team is really proud of the results. The arch is about 10’ wide and 6’ tall and spans the distance between two commercial and residential buildings on Poughkeepsie’s Main Street. It was designed by John Harvey and the Public Projects team and fabricated in The Steel Yard shop by Charlie Corley and the Public Projects team.
