RISCA LED DEVELOPMENT WORKSHOP
Over 20 arts orgs gather at the Yard to talk money
Do you know what your chief fundraiser does – or how they do it?
Do you imagine someone squirreling away in a corner writing grants or (GASP) asking people for money? You are somewhat correct. However, the chief role of a non-profit Development person is to build lasting relationships. They thrive on partnerships and devise solutions to help people and programs grow.
January 17, 2020, Upwards of 20 folks who raise money for their arts organizations gathered in The Steel Yard’s restored and HEATED industrial arts studio to talk about their work and share ideas. The workshop was lead by the talented Todd Trebour at the RI State Council on the Arts. It was a great morning with a great group of dedicated folks. Thanks to Todd at RISCA for organizing us, and to everyone who joined us!
