Description

Have you ever wanted to wield a 10,000° electrical arc to bring metal together? This one-night workshop is designed to give students new to the welding studio an opportunity to play with clay while learning the basic techniques of wheel throwing. Students will learn about welding, grinding, and studio safety. No previous welding experience necessary—this workshop is open to all levels. All materials and tools will be provided. Students will walk away with a water-tight vessel that doubles as a piece of art!

SCHOLARSHIPS applications are available for students who may not otherwise be able to enroll in a course.  Additionally, standing sliding scale scholarships exist for QT/BIPOC students.
