Description
This class is an introduction to basic blacksmithing skills including (but not limited to) drawing, hot cutting, tapering, bending, and twisting. Basic hammer skills, focusing on proper technique, will also be taught as part of this class. Students will also learn safe and proper use of a drill press to put final hanging holes in their forged piece as well as several finishing techniques for the final product.

SCHOLARSHIPS
SCHOLARSHIPS applications are available for students who may not otherwise be able to enroll in a course. Additionally, standing sliding scale scholarships exist for QT/BIPOC students.
