Description

Over this six week course, students will learn how to make things move and how to balance metal pieces.

They’ll get to zone in further on skills they have from previous metals classes. They will learn grinding, finishing, and surface treatments, including how to prevent rust.

Intermediate welding experience required — this is a great opportunity to hone your metalworking skills. Materials, safety equipment and tools will be provided. Enrollment includes additional access to one monitored Open Studio session per week, either on Thursday afternoons from 3:00pm – 6:00pm, Fridays from 5:30pm – 8:30pm, or Sunday evenings from 5:00pm – 8:00pm.

SCHOLARSHIPS

SCHOLARSHIPS applications are available for students who may not otherwise be able to enroll in a course.  Additionally, standing sliding scale scholarships exist for QT/BIPOC students.
