Peter Scheidt
Peter Scheidt has been welding and tinkering ever since his shop teacher dad realized a son could hand him tools better than the tool box could (probably sometime in the womb). Upon graduating from Brown University in 2009, with a dual degree in studio art and media studies, he co-founded BILT furniture - a Providence based design and build furniture collaborative. After spending adolescence working in an auto salvage yard and wrenching on air-cooled VW's and hotrods, Peter came to bicycles from the dark side. A bike commuter and avid recreational cyclist - he still indulges in internal combustion from time to time.
