Clay Rockefeller

Clay Rockefeller is an artist/entrepreneur who values volunteerism and community. His personal experiences and his work mentoring youth through Project Eye-to-Eye have led him to appreciate the value of untraditional learning spaces that can meet the needs of all kinds of learners. He co-founded the Steel Yard with Nick Bauta in 2001 in order to create a place where people from all kinds of backgrounds can converge and exchange ideas. In addition to volunteering at the Steel Yard, Clay serves as a board member and as a consultant to a number of non-profits including English-for-Action, AS220, Olneyville Housing Corporation, CASH Music, the David Rockefeller Fund, and the Rockefeller Philanthropy Advisors. He also loves to weld, chop, volunteer, share his ideas and play with his dogs, Uzi and Vegas.
