Arbor Day Pt. Deux 09/11/2010 | 9:00 AM -

With our official ribbon cutting ceremony coming up on September 25th – we want to make the Yard shine like it never has!  
By now, the hard work you all put in on April 30th to plant and seed the site has really taken root.  The trees are thriving and our seeded wetlands and highlands are in full, wild bloom!  Unfortunately, some other pesky weeds, like the unforgiving knot weed, have decided to move in as well.  

We are looking to re-group our Arbor Volunteer team to help us weed (and possibly reseed) for a few hours on Saturday September 11th.  A couple of the wetland areas, along our Sims Avenue fence and the hill on the north side of the site all are in need of some seasonal maintenance.  With 15 – 25 volunteers this will be an easy chore.  Whether you can help out for an hour or the whole day, please consider taking part in Arbor Day Part Deux!
